About me

Women

This collection I call "Women”.

They are titled in the spirit in which I created them and the feeling I hope they evoke for you. This collection was born through wanting a positive change in the way I carry out my day as a Mother and as a woman.

I wanted to create something which had a positive impact on others and helped them in their day. The artworks for me were a born during a period of high stress due to many external factors. Creating these works brought some peace and steadiness to my days. I hope they do for you too.

I’m an artist whose main medium was painting before having 3 kids under 5. Drawing came organically as a way I could continue to create art whilst juggling motherhood. I can sqeeze it in before this or that or in naps and while the kids play, and this is how this collection came to be. I really hope you can see that joy in these pieces. ✨

Color is my day-long obsession, joy and torment.

Claude Monet

The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.

Aristotle

A good painting to me has always been like a friend. It keeps me company, comforts and inspires.
